Drivers side front and rear sub frame was corroded. Vehicle required new outer sill assembly.

We removed the existing sill and prepared it for welding. We had to source new sill assembly and weld it into position.

Found further corrosion under drivers seat floor pan area. Remove drivers interior of car to gain access to area.

At the same time the customer decided to replace the drivers side front wing due to corrosion.

Fabricate various fixings and in-fill panels. Prepare and paint sill area and door steps. Replace chrome door steps. Waxoyl protection put into the sill area cavities. Use a coat of stone protection paint to preserve.

We located a new wing directly from Jaguar (they were the most cost effective supplier). We prepared, painted and lacquered. Blend painting to the bonnet and drivers front door area. Replace pin strips to match previous.

Parts for these Jaguars are available but it takes a bit of time and effort ringing around and sourcing the correct parts which we do not mind doing to ensure that we get the correct parts the first time.

Luckily the client was in no particular rush so was happy to wait until the job was 100% completed and to a top standard.
