If you love your classic cars this is a once in a life time opportunity to own and add your own finishing touches and specifications to an original 1971 Classic original right hand drive FIAT 500 with the sought after round dash board dials.

We are currently restoring this iconic FIAT 500 and are open to offers from a buyer who would like to finish the car to their exact requirements. The buyer can be involved in the finishing of the car with items such as interior colours, exterior paint work, spotlights, trims etc.

We have lots of history on the vehicle, including old photographs, and know that it originally belonged to Lord and Lady Wood of London and was their everyday car for over 30 years. We believe it was then passed onto their daughter to learn to drive in.

We have various receipts from garages in Kensington, Surrey and Chelsea showing what work was carried out to it over the years.

I bought it 5 years ago and have now started to fully restore it including replacing metal panels, trims, electrical components and wiring. The engine is being rebuilt along with the gearbox. The original upholstery will be reused unless the purchaser would like to specify a different trim. The sunroof will be restored and will be in full working condition. The shell will be repainted in the original cream paintwork (unless the buyer requests a different colour). The pinstrips will be replaced in blue and red. All chrome will be either replaced or rechromed.

For an original right hand drive FIAT 500 to appear on the market is rare - To put your own stamp on one is even rarer. The value of it will increase over the years.

We are restoring it carefully and fully to the highest standard. If you wish you will be able to get fully involved with the finish of the car from the paintwork, trims, carpets down to the colour of the pin strips on the bodywork.

We anticipate that it will sell for upwards of 12K and like all good classic cars will only increase in value.

It will come with 12 months MOT (not required but we will MOT it anyhow), road tax is zero, original book pack and lots of keys. Will also be completed by the obligatory boot rack and picnic hamper!
