Collect vehicle from house and check over condition and report on conditon

Bypass ignition switch due to missing key and run up engine

Investigate exhaust blowing. Found poor repair to the front pipe joint. Remove section of exhaust and fabricate and weld into position a section of exhaust.

Stripped, clean, adjusted and lubricated all brakes front and rear. On removal of passenger rear wheel the wheel nuts fell into brake drum. Remove brake drum and strip down hub to gain access to the bolts. Found poor previous repair. Made quality repair to the hub. Refit hub (re-grease wheel bearing) and rebuild up.

Re-greased both front wheel bearings whilst drum brake removed.

Grease all grease points underside/suspension etc.

Bypass ignition switch due to missing key. Started engine and found battery faulty and the alternator has an internal electrical fault. Unable to service alternator. Replace with new alternator kit including new belt.

Found water leak from pump. Removed bonnet to gain access to radiator. Stripped down radiator to gain clearance for the removal of the water pump. Found water pump in poor condition - despatched for reconditioning. Refit water pump to vehicle including new gasket ,flushed through coolant system, fill with fresh coolant and bleed through.

Replace 6 volt battery , fabricate new battery securing strap and paint .

Make up a pattern for floor and make up/cut new wooden floor as original one was missing .

Remove rear chassis cross member and broken section , clean up and weld back into position. Paint up repair and refit to vehicle .

Top up steering box up with PENRITE steering box oil
